Outlets at Silverthorne

Master planning and a comprehensive renovation program design were implemented for the 350,000 sq.ft. outdoor shopping complex located in Silverthorne, Colorado. This was one of three Colorado retail centres that our team refurbished for a single owner. In this instance, the building facades, as well as the pedestrian environments were given significant makeovers.

The Silverthorne re-design created a dramatic “Rocky Mountain Architecture” utilizing large timbers and stone that play off of the surrounding mountain peaks. The addition of fireplaces, water features, and an abundance of rustic furniture for visitors to relax and enjoy the majestic surroundings created an atmosphere that brought customers back to a struggling retail centre. The large, oversize graphics encouraged retailers to promote the lifestyles that they sell in what was truly a shoppers environment.
