Joey Restaurant — Bell Tower

This project is a new construction of a 8,500 sq.ft. restaurant added to the base of the existing Bell Tower’s north side, replacing a surface parking lot. The prime location was built to take full advantage of the ongoing redevelopment of Edmonton’s new ‘ICE District’ while dealing with the complexities of tucking a new space into an existing 35 story high-rise. The new space includes an all-season patio terrace and seats 270 people. We were involved with the Joey Restaurant Group and Olsen Kundig Architects from the beginning of design development assisting in feasibility and code review, design development, contract documentation and construction administration.
