Fresh Street Market

Fresh St. Market is a major revitalization project in the heart of West Vancouver’s Ambleside community. The 2-storey 35,000 sq.ft. renovation involved the conversion of an existing grocery store. The customers’ shopping experience has been kept as the focal point throughout the design process. A high degree of transparency is introduced to the facades, with fully glazed entrance and exit vestibules creating a strong connection between interior and exterior space. A newly created patio allows plenty of room for seating areas, featuring a new living green wall. Integrating sustainable natural materials such as wood, stone, steel and glass, the major design elements reflect the beautiful West Coast Style of waterfront community buildings.
