Chatters Hair Salon

In 2002, our team developed a new store prototype for this emerging retailer. After a successful initial launch in Chinook Centre, Calgary, they rapidly expanded to 82 stores across Canada. In 2008 Chatters approached us to update their look and assist with rebranding what was now a recognized name in the retail sector. The concept was reinvented by collabor8 into a store design reflecting a clean, contemporary look with strong lines and clearly defined merchandising zones. Bold graphics are used with colour coded product areas to reflect a hip and stylish salon. And while a new graphic was developed, it maintained a tie-in to the original graphics that reflected growth while maintaining strong ties to their established brand.
